Unbind is a design education start-up that focuses on creating learning experiences for designers and students. We are a group of design enthusiasts who believe in using design to bring about a positive social change.
Design thinking principles form the core of our organisation, and we believe learning is something that happens the most through interactions of a different kind.

VINAY VARANASI

Vinay is an architect by profession and a facilitator by passion. He has a masters in Design Research from Bauhaus, and works full time on program strategy and program design at Unbind.
SWETHA MANIVANNAN
CO-FOUNDER
If you're looking to share and listen to stories, Swetha is someone you can count on. An architect keen on learning systems, she is currently a program designer and facilitator at Unbind.
Other times, you'll find her immersed in spoken word poetry and art.
Shruti Baliga is immensely interested finding sustainable solutions for the rapid problem of urbanization. Having an advisory role at Unbind, she is currently freelancing and working on a couple of pet projects.
Samaya’s connection to the biodiversity in Western Ghats serves as a premise for the designer she is today. A photographer, she has an advisory role at Unbind and is currently pursuing a Master’s in Strategic Design and Management from Parsons School of Design, The New School.
Raksha works with Unbind on an advisory role. An architecture graduate, her curiosity is her anchor as a designer through illustrations or interaction design. She loves to explore and learn from visual design spheres in indigenous contexts.

Bhargav works as an architect at his own design studio. His tryst with teaching and Architecture was born at Unbind and works as a part time program designer and facilitator. He is always looking out for new opportunities that help him build his personality and the surrounding environment.

Architectural education has become very predictable and events like these extend the learning outside the four walls. Unbind's hands-on approach and dialogue way of learning becomes very important and they're doing a good job and I hope they organize more such events!
The whole experience has been so professional and I'm extremely proud of the team! It never once felt like they were a group of youngsters.
This is a great initiative where all forms of art are on display and it helps students choose what path they want to take in future.
