5C's WORKSHOP
A workshop series focussed on exploring the 5Cs namely- creativity, collaboration, communication, critical thinking and creation in the context of architecture and design. Through hands-on activities and dialogue learning, students will engage in different approaches to design. The biggest takeaway is our frameworks and unique experiential process that students can use at any time in the semester. We explore fundamental questions like - How can creativity be enhanced through collaboration? How can I create balancing both empathy and innovation?...and a lot more.

DISCUSSING THESIS: Topic by Topic
Being the most important project in a student's, there's a lot of fear surrounding the thesis topic and students are often lost in a sea of information. In this workshop, students are given a platform where they can discuss their ideas with practicing architects so they have their ideal thesis topic in mind by the end of the session.

THESIS IT!
An architecture graduate level thesis comes with a lot of performance pressure. the focus often becomes on merely ticking the boxes, rather than putting up a good show. At the nth hour, students tend to forget ideas and inspirations that are deeply buried in them. This session of a few hours focuses on the valuable strings needed to tie a thesis project together: from presentation to speaking techniques.

GREEN THUMB WORKSHOP
As future architects, what is our responsibility towards the environment?
A simple visit to a landfill near Bangalore is enough of a wake up a call to make us realize the impact of our 'waste'ful actions, says Mrs. Vani Murthy, a powerful green crusader. This workshop focusses on understanding design choices and how they impact the environment.

What happens when architects play with words?
Architectural journalism is born. Atypical from any other kind of journalism, the focus of this field is on built spaces. Unbind conducted a workshop on mastering the techniques needed to become an architectural journalist. This two-day session saw involvement from Hindustan university students on content creation, graphics and marrying the two to produce a piece of architectural journalism. The students were exposed to aspects of the field that stand off the beaten track.

Architectural education has become very predictable and events like these extend the learning outside the four walls. Unbind's hands-on approach and dialogue way of learning becomes very important and they're doing a good job and I hope they organize more such events!
The whole experience has been so professional and I'm extremely proud of the team! It never once felt like they were a group of youngsters.
This is a great initiative where all forms of art are on display and it helps students choose what path they want to take in future.
