Rangabhoomi is a design fellowship centred around envisioning social change through design. Rangabhoomi means playground. Staying true to the spirit of the name, the fellowship is a playground where designers with a social cause come together to play, experiment and innovate.
This is an opportunity to tackle case-specific challenges, a chance to develop a multi-disciplinary approach towards design and be a part of a diverse community of change agents, that will support and nurture each other’s ideas and growth.
The pilot program of Rangabhoomi saw the first cohort of designers exploring areas of Education, Environment, and Heritage.
Our Nakshas (fellows) were exposed to a systemic understanding of design by being an apprentice in an organization, expert guest sessions, immersion programs, and one-on-one coaching to create, identify and achieve goals in desired fields.
